The Adversarial Modeling and Exploitation Office (AMX) conducts a broad
spectrum of research in information technology to support the development of
techniques, technology, and tools that will improve our understanding and
modeling of adversarial behavior. Research in the Office is
multidisciplinary, using concepts from psychology, geography, computer
science, and mathematics. The Office directly supports the Information
Technology Division. The Office formulates the scientific goals for
adversarial modeling and works in collaboration with other Branches in the
Division, other Divisions at NRL, and other research organizations outside
of NRL and DOD to conceive, formulate, and conduct long-range research and
to deliver near-term products.
